Strategy[edit]
Combined with Old Toby and the six pipes of Fellowship block, Longbottom Leaf forms the basis of the Pipeweed strategy. With cards to heal companions, remove burdens, remove twilight, and recycle tales into the draw deck, Pipeweed decks are "Swiss Army Knives", keeping the Free Peoples healthy and powerful. As the Pipeweed strategy is largely possession and event based, Longbottom Leaf allows for some additional cycling with the option of discarding up to two cards from hand when played. Combined with Old Toby, which draws a card, Longbottom Leaf is at the heart (and lungs) of the Pipeweed deck.
